The Beginning
I was an ocean rescue lifeguard for nine seasons. As a pasty white kid in the winter, by August my skin would transform into a shade of bronzed brown. However, those first few weeks of the season were always a challenge to protect my skin from sunburn. I constantly had to apply and reapply sunscreen because I was always in and out of the water working out or making rescues.
Naturally, I would miss spots and my skin would fry. It felt like there was a better way to support ourselves in addition to sunscreen and UV proof clothing.
Sunscreen only addresses part of the equation, the surface. But what if you could also support the repair of the damage your skin has incurred over time?
